WHAT IS A DIGITAL COLORING BOOK?

A digital coloring book is just a collection of pictures, formatted to be colored by you! In other words, a digital coloring book is just like any other coloring book, but you can choose how you want to color it... you can print your pages out at home, or you can color your pages digitally on a phone, tablet, or computer!

Coloring is all about expression, so use whatever tools work best for you.

HOW ARE YOUR DIGITAL COLORING BOOKS CREATED?

Chromango coloring books are completely hand-illustrated by me, Andrew! I start by picking a theme that I like, and then I plan out the individual scenes. For example, I might choose the theme of "gaming," and then I'll pick 5 concepts that fit that theme—arcades, Donkey Kong, PacMan, funny VR experiences, and portable gaming.

From there, I sketch compositions and ideas that I think work well within the concept. My sketching process usually starts really roughly in a sketchbook or on loose paper. I like to trace over my sketches so that I have flexibility in how I progress my drawings. If I don't like the way something is drawn, or where it's placed, I can remove it or change it without affecting existing lines.

I iterate until I arrive at a satisfactory scene! Depending on the format and complexity of the idea, reaching this stage is a matter of hours—sometimes it will take a few days to work through and execute on an idea. From here, I trace the drawing to a piece of bristol paper using a lightbox. I then ink the entire illustration and iterate upon it, adjusting the thickness of lines to accentuate different characters, objects, and details for a more dynamic and interesting final appearance.

Now I just have to scan, test print, and format the book to get it ready for download!

WHEN WILL NEW DESIGNS BE ADDED?

Right now, Chromango is just getting started. Based on demand, I may dedicate more or less time to the project. I want to create at least a few more themed sets before I commit to a release schedule. HOW DO I ACCESS AND DOWNLOAD MY PURCHASE?

You can access your downloads at any time in a couple of ways:

Sign in to your account here: https://account.tripfast.jp/ and select an order from your order history. Available downloads will be listed in your order status page.
Search your email inbox for "TRIPFAST.jp download" or "Chromango"—the links in your download confirmation email (not your order confirmation, but a separate email with the subject "Your downloads are ready - TRIPFAST.jp order") should be active indefinitely.

WHAT FORMAT ARE THE FILES IN?

Your purchase always includes high-res, print-ready PDF and PNG files—use whichever you find easier to work with. I suggest:

If you want to print, use PDF.
If you want to color digitally, use PNG.

CAN I PRINT THE COLORING PAGES?

Absolutely! Your digital files are high-res and ready to print beautifully. I suggest you use the PDF file to print. Chromango pages are 7.5in × 7.5in, which fit nicely on standard US letter size paper.

When printing, it's best to set the image to print at its regular size. In other words, make sure you disable any scaling options, and set the print size to 100% scale—disable "fit to page" or "scale to fit" options unless you need them.

To get the best results and avoid distortion:

Open the PDF in your preferred viewer (like Adobe Acrobat Reader, Preview on Mac, or your browser).
Go to File > Print (or press Ctrl+P on Windows / Cmd+P on Mac).
In the print dialog box, look for 'Scaling,' 'Page Sizing,' or 'Fit' options.
Select 'Actual size' or '100% scale' (do NOT choose 'Fit to page,' 'Scale to fit,' or 'Shrink to printable area').
